Last Saturday, I went to a Stamping Event, organised by Linda. It was terrific !! We learned new techniques, such as stamping a reflection, and also stamping a shadow. Linda also had a great recycling tip : in the shops, where they make car-numberplates, you can get the waste : numbers and letters, which you can use for scrapbooking or cards. You can dot them with alcohol ink, or dot with Versamark, pour coloured embossingpowder over and heat. You can also paint them with acrylic paint, or glue (scrap-) paper on (with doublesided tape), turn the letter over and cut of the overlapping paper. Maybe you have even more ideas for this "waste". It's good recycling !
Linda and 'her' ladies could also persuade me, to finally start making ATC's !! I was interested in making them , but never had the time. Now I can !! There was a challenge to make ATC's with mice on, so I joined rightaway ! You can see my first trials above. The photo isn't so good, you can hardly see the (glitter-) champagne, pushing up the cork with mouse. Better luck next time.

Last Thursday, I went to the Creativa show in Brussels. It was interesting but different from Dutch shows. No Magnolia stamps here, nor Copic markers. Instead, French stamps and Posca markers. It was a mixed show, all kind of hobbies were represented, like embroidery, painting, pearls, etc...
During my holiday last year, I found a scrapbook shop near Montpellier (Les ateliers de Flo / Atilolou), where I already bought French stamps and embies. This lady was also at Creativa, with her enormous mass of embellishments !! On the photo, you can only see part of the drawers ! I couldn't resist...

Tim Holtz has done it again, releasing 12 new colours of distress ink ! And of course I wanted those, so today, I went to In2hobby, to get them. They're really beautiful, the photo above doesn't do them justice, because it's taken by artificial light. Those colours give new inspiration for cardmaking etc...
